Zetabid To Auction 110 Homes In Chicago Area
Many First-Time Home Buyers and Investors Expected To Attend

Zetabid, the pioneering firm redefining home auctions in the U.S., today announced it will sell approximately 110 foreclosed homes in the Chicago metropolitan area on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009.

Zetabid is auctioning single-family homes, condos, townhouses and multi-family homes from as little as $4,000. The majority of the homes are priced from $50,000 to $150,000, and more than half are within the city limits of Chicago. The remainder of the properties are located in nearby suburbs.

“The Chicago market offers tremendous home-buying opportunities for both owner-occupants and investors,” said Bob Bellack, Chairman of Zetabid. “Even with the recent increase in home sale activity, many properties are still selling as much as 50% below their price at the peak of the market. Many of the homes in this auction are lower-priced properties that are even more attractive, given government financing programs and other incentives.”

The bidding begins at 10 a.m. and investors are encouraged to register in advance at www.zetabid.com. Buyers can also register at the McCormick Place Convention Center on the day of the event, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Detailed information about each property is available at Zetabid’s website.

For the Chicago auction, prospective buyers can bid in person at the McCormick Place Convention Center or via Zetabid’s worldwide Internet simulcast. Buyers can also bring their real estate agents to the auction event. Additionally, buyers can place an offer on a property before the auction by using the ‘Buy It Now’ form at www.zetabid.com. Zetabid is the nation’s only residential auctioneer that allows buyers to purchase a property contingent on securing mortgage financing.

Zetabid encourages buyers to view homes with a listing agent by appointment. Zetabid urges prospective buyers to carefully inspect properties before bidding.
